The classic 2048 puzzle. Slide tiles to merge identical numbers; combine 2 + 2 into 4, 4 + 4 into 8, all the way up to 2048. Reach the goal tile to win, but most players keep going to chase higher milestones like 4096 and 8192.
How to play
Use arrow keys, swipes, or WASD to slide every tile in one direction. Tiles of the same value that collide merge once per move. After every move a new 2 or 4 spawns in an empty cell. The board has 16 cells — fill them all without a possible merge and the game ends.
Strategy fundamentals
Pick a corner — say bottom-right — and never let your largest tile leave it. Stack values in a snake pattern along one edge so merges chain naturally. Avoid swiping toward the corner you are protecting; once the big tile slips, the board collapses.
