What is an average KPS?
Most people score around 5–7 KPS. Alternating two fingers can reach 9+ KPS, and rhythm-game players are often faster.
Tips for a higher score
Alternate both thumbs or your index and middle fingers instead of one thumb. Tap lightly at the actuation point rather than bottoming out. Mechanical switches also change how fast it feels.
